Lawson spoke about the prospect of F1 coming to New Zealand. New Zealand Red Bull driver Liam Lawson will be happy if Formula 1 starts holding stages in his homeland.
The tracks need to be updated a bit to FIA standard, so I would say probably not [at the moment], but I would really hope so. If I can do anything for this, I certainly will - I think it would be very, very cool.
We have very cool racing tracks. My favorite track in the whole world is in New Zealand, so if we can bring it up to the FIA standard, then. . . ” Liam said in an interview with the Motorsport channel.
