Hamilton`s farewell radio to Mercedes: What started as a leap of faith became a journey into the history books

Hamilton said goodbye to Mercedes with an emotional message on the radio. Lewis Hamilton finished his last race for Mercedes - the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - from 16th position to fourth, after which he shared his emotions on the radio with team boss Toto Wolff and long-time race engineer Peter Bonnington.
Lewis, it was the aerobatics of a world champion, amazing, ” said Wolff.
Thank you, Toto, ” replied the Briton.
The seven-time champion also responded to Bonnington`s words about how pleasant it was to work with the driver:
It was a pleasure for me too. Yes, Bono, we dreamed alone, but together we believed. And as a team we have achieved things that. . .
Thank you for all this courage, determination, passion, for accepting me and supporting me. What started out as a leap of faith became a trip into the history books.
We did everything together, and I am so grateful to everyone - on our site and at the base. I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart.

Hamilton will drive for Ferrari in 2025.
