Cade Cunningham set his personal record for assists. In a 120-111 win over New York, Detroit`s point guard posted a triple-double of 29 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists, setting a career record for most assists in a single game.
Cunningham made 9 of 17 field goals, 5 of 8 three-pointers and 6 of 7 free throws. He became the second Detroit player after Isaiah Thomas to score 25+10+15.
Detroit broke a streak of 16 consecutive losses to New York.
