I. o. Atlanta United coach appreciated reaching the quarter finals of the MLS Cup. Atlanta defeated Inter Miami (3-2) in the third match of the 1st round and won the series 2-1.
Now the team believes in itself. We made little adjustments and did certain things to try to win every game. Each time we changed the game a little, different players took to the field, but there was an important message: we must do this [win] together.
There won`t be any one player dragging us down. It doesn`t have to be a fact, it`s just a fact and I tell the team that they have to do it together. There should be no passengers on the crew, ” Rob Valentino said.
